Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht race 2010.

During the last 65 years this race has become one of the must see national events, attracting a big public & media interest. It developed a strong influence on international ocean yacht racing, maintaining the highest standards for yacht race entry.
This year there are 102 yachts nominated for the great race to Hobart Tasmania, which will face one of the toughest races on open waters.
The Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race 2010 will start on the 26 of December at 1pm from Sydney Harbour, following the Tasman Sea, Storm Bay and the Derwent River.
The 66th Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race will be broadcasted from 12:30pm, and it will be shown live to over 45 countries.
It will be a magnificent race with great competitors. Let’s see who will take the honours in one of the toughest races in the world.

If you are in Sydney and would like to see it, make sure you prepare your picnic and go early in the morning, as all Sydney coastal borders will be fully packed with spectators & supporters in a very exciting & relaxed atmosphere. You will see the 102 competitors and hundreds of other vessels that enjoy following the start of the race. It is a sight worthwhile seeing that you will not forget. And yes, DO NOT FORGET YOUR SUN PROTECTION.
