DT2: Jenolan Caves & Wildlife Park
Jenolan Caves is one of the oldest & best known attractions in Australia. They have been open to the public for over 100 years, thrilling visitors from all over the world with their spectacular limestone caves, and wonderful surroundings. They are set amid the natural wonders of the Blue Mountains and are possibly the world’s largest & oldest limestone caves.
Our groups have a maximum of 10 people, to give you more time at each location, and a really personal service. (Larger groups can also be accommodated-please request further details).
Drive through meadows and thick forests. See quaint historical villages along the way, which still keep the colonial touch. Have a memorable day out on the wild side of the mountains.
You will be able to get in close contact with unique Australian animals & birds, with great photo opportunities. Touch a koala, wombat, kookaburra, handfeed kangaroos, emus, etc. and enjoy a light morning tea in the fresh air before departure.
Go on an informative guided cave inspection, and walk through spectacular limestone caves, with interesting explanations about their formation and discovery by early explorers.
Visit the Australian version of the Grand Canyon, the magnificent Grose Valley and enjoy its breathtaking views of gorges and striking vertical sandstone cliffs.
In our return to Sydney, we go through Echo Point, home of the famous rock formations known as the Three Sisters, offering endless panoramic views of this wonderful World Heritage listed National Park.
