FD1: Sydney City Sights Full Day Tour

Sydney Blue Mountains day tours

Enjoy a day travelling by land & by sea, visiting great locations in central Sydney and the northern suburbs.

Our groups have a maximum of 10 people, to give you more time at each location, and a highly personalised service.   (Larger groups can also be accommodated-please request further details).

Drive across one of Sydney icons, the Harbour Bridge, to see historical Kirribilli House (home to our Prime Minister), terrace houses and the superb city view’s from the northern side of the harbour.

At North Head you will have great panoramic views of the Tasman Sea & Port Jackson from the top of magnificent sandstone cliffs. With some luck you might see a whale or two during the winter migration. This is also one of the locals' favourite spots to view the international Sydney to Hobart yacht race. There are wonderful panoramic views right down the harbour to the city.

See how many beaches you can count along the coast from a Manly peninsula.

Colourful Manly beach is one of the favourite themes of world renowned artist, Ken Done. Have a stroll by the beach to breathe the sea air, browse the mall, and enjoy lunch at a terrace cafe by the beach, or simply get some fish and chips which is one of the locals' favourite snacks. (Lunch is at your own expense).

Hop on the ferry to cruise back to the city, and enjoy the opportunity it will give you for some great photo shots of the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, Fort Denison, as well as other beautiful scenery that you will encounter along Sydney harbour.

Visit historical St. Mary's Cathedral, one of the more notable and historic Sydney churches. It is a significant Sydney landmark with its imposing stone structure of decorated geometrical Gothic design.

View the world heritage listed Opera House from different angles - it’s one of the most recognisable and photographed images of the modern world.

Drive pass by the leafy Royal Botanic Gardens and Art Gallery of New south Wales, to visit Mrs. Macquarie’s Point. Have a seat on the carved sandstone chair specially made for her to enjoy the wonderful harbour views. Enjoy a post card photo opportunity of Sydney harbour from Mrs. Macquarie's Point, with the magnificent Harbour Bridge & Opera House as a background.
